Mr. Schuessler is an active conductor, music educator and singer in the Syracuse area.  He is a member of the West Genesee Central School District Faculty and is in his fifth year as the Choral Director for the Camillus Middle School.  At the 2010 New York State Summer Music Conference he was named the 2010 NY/ACDA Outstanding Young Choral Conductor of the Year.  The Camillus Middle School 7/8 Concert Choir has received a Gold and Silver rating at NYSSMA majors under his direction and also received two Grand Champion and First place Trophies at the Darien Lake Music Competition (2010 & 2011). He  began his musical training as a member of the American Boychoir School, touring throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.  He received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Houghton College, Houghton, NY under the tutelage of Dr. Brandon Johnson.
