These two awards seek to honor excellence in New York choral music.  Please consider taking a few minutes and nominating someone who has elevated the choral music in New York State.

New York Choral Director of the Year

This award is for members who have:

1. Ten or more years of conducting experience
2. Established high performance and literature standards
3. Promotion of choral music in their community
4. Consistent ACDA membership
5. Attends and supports ACDA functions and statewide activities
6. Contributes to ACDA through work in district, state, regional or national conventions, committees, etc.

Outstanding Young Choral Director of the Year

This award is for conductors who have:

1. Ten or less years of conduction experience
2. Established high performance and literature standards
3. Promotion of choral music in the community
4. Consistent ACDA membership
